Connect Pantry Persona to ChatGPT

Follow these steps to add Pantry Persona to your ChatGPT. Takes less than 2 minutes.

What you'll need

  • ✓ChatGPT Go, Plus, Pro, Business, or Enterprise account
  • ✓Desktop browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)

Enable Developer Mode

Open ChatGPT settings and enable advanced features.

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select "Settings"
  3. Navigate to "Apps" and click "Advanced Settings"
  4. Toggle on "Developer Mode"

Tip: Developer Mode is needed while we await approval in the ChatGPT App Directory. Once approved, this step goes away.

Create Pantry Persona App

Add a new app for Pantry Persona.

  1. In the Connectors section, click "Create app"
  2. Enter a name: "Pantry Persona"
  3. Paste the MCP Server URL below
  4. Select "OAuth" as the authentication method

Authorize Your Account

Sign in to connect your Pantry Persona account.

  1. Click the "Connect" button — a new window will open
  2. Sign in with Google or email (same as your Pantry Persona account)
  3. You'll see what Pantry Persona can access — click "Authorize" to confirm
  4. The window closes and you're back in ChatGPT — all set!

Start Using Pantry Persona

Activate and start chatting with your kitchen assistant.

  1. Open any ChatGPT conversation
  2. Type @Pantry Persona to add it to the conversation
  3. Start talking naturally about your kitchen!

Tip: You can also click the + button and select Pantry Persona from the tools menu.
