Open the Pantry Persona Listing
Pantry Persona is in Claude's connector directory. The button below opens the listing.

- 3Or find it manually: Settings → Connectors → Browse connectors, then search "Pantry Persona"
Tip: Give the page a moment — the listing opens over the Claude app, so the app loads first.
Authorize Your Account
Connect your Pantry Persona account to Claude.
- 1A sign-in window opens automatically
- 2Sign in with Google or email, or create an account right there if you don't have one yet
- 3You'll see what Pantry Persona can access. Click "Allow Access" to confirm
- 4The window closes and you're back in Claude. All set!
Tip: Prefer to add it by hand? Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste https://www.pantrypersona.com/mcp and leave the Advanced settings empty.
Enable in a Conversation
Toggle Pantry Persona on in your chat.
- 1Start a new conversation
- 2Click the "+" button near the chat input
- 3Select "Connectors" from the menu
- 4Toggle on Pantry Persona
- 5Ask about your pantry, recipes, or meal plans
Tip: You need to enable Pantry Persona per conversation. Once toggled on, Claude will use it automatically for the rest of that chat.
Set Tool Access to Auto (Recommended)
Ensure Claude uses Pantry Persona automatically without being asked.
- 1Click the "+" button near the chat input
- 2Hover over "Connectors"
- 3Click "Tool access"
- 4Select "Tools already loaded" (not "Load tools when needed")
Tip: If set to "Load tools when needed," you'll have to tell Claude to use Pantry Persona each time. "Tools already loaded" lets Claude reach for your kitchen tools without being asked.
